Hey everyone, I'm so sorry I haven't been active on here. Unfortunately I've realized that posting a project every week was way too ambitious, and that it’s almost impossible when there's a lot going on in all of our lives. So, I'm shutting down WotW. I'm really, really sorry but a lot has been going on irl for me so I can't help out to make a project every week. You all are such incredible people that I absolutely love and want to get to know more, so, I'd like to propose a less ambitious idea to you all.

Recently I've been lacking creativity, I've been procrastinating on everything (including writing this post). I know a lot of other kids my age and even younger have been going through the same thing. So I thought ‘Why not create something beautiful that will inspire a bunch of others? Why not create something that will help others get out of this funk and help them focus on things that matter?’ So I present to you — The Procrastinators Paper (TPP)! This will be a bi-monthly magazine (meaning an edition will come out every 2 months or so) posted on my profile. The magazine will have a different theme each month based on that month (like WotW). There will be 6 (or more we could do) of departments each focusing on the main hobbies that the scratch community do. The Departments include:
Writing
This will include literally everything we are currently doing in WotW but instead of 1 Word of the Month it will be 3 super unusual and good ones that everyone should be using to make their writing richer.
Crafts
I was thinking one really simple craft and one slightly harder one but ones that everyone can do with basic stuff
Cooking and Baking
This will be a recipe for an easy to do snack and dessert/sweet thing. It would be awesome if each of these could go along with the editions theme. Raya, Nat may be into this and may want to help. I know she loves baking <33
Art
The head of this department would release a project with a few simple art prompts relating to the next sessions theme and people would remix with their pieces of art. Depending on how many we would get the people on the art team would choose their top picks from each of the prompts and it would be featured in the magazine
Wellbeing & Tips
Every edition would have 3 different tips to help with procrastination and then there would be tips for being productive, going to bed early and waking up early, doing homework, cleaning, motivation, organizing, writing, art, etc.)
Games
These would be at the end of the magazine and would have some riddles, crosswords maybe and other fun games that are usually in magazines and papers. All these things will be, again, coinciding with the theme of the magazine that month

All these departments would need a very active, reliable dedicated head who makes a forum and hires some workers to help them out with writing things out for the magazine plus ideas and stuff. If this sounds good to you all I’ll make a small form for you guys to fill out so then I can make you head of the department that will best fit you. I’d love to hear some ideas and tips from you all as well. I would really need you all to be truthful on how active you are so I know that you’ll do well as a head, if you don’t think you could be head of a department, thats fine. You can choose the department of your chose to work for. I have a bunch of other ideas for this that I can speak to you all about if you’re into the idea. Once I choose all the heads I can make an application studio, project or forum for people to fill out and then the heads can choose people to work for their department. Again, I am incredibly sorry I have been so inactive and stopped WotW, I hope you all will forgive me.

Oh Aspen, don't feel bad for doing what's best for you! I completely understand the procrastination (swc procrastination is PAIN), and I know how hard it is to juggle all these things at the same time. This sounds like a great idea, Aspen <33 And apologies for me not having been proactive here either! I'll check my calendars to see my schedules/commitments and get back to you on whether or not I can be a head. Right now, I'm interested in the Writing and Wellbeing+Tips departments. I'll ask Nat about the Cooking+Baking. Do you know approximately how long each section of the magazine should be?

Thanks for your interest Raya! Yea lemme know what you decide. I was thinking that all the heads of the departments and me would design the magazine on canva together. I was thinking about 1-2 slides, depending on what it is.

I'd be interested in doing the Art section and the Games section (in that order), but I'd be happy with any // I think those departments would best fit me because: Art because I'm creative and I love to draw, and art prompts are so fun to come up with xD, and Games because I spent many hours when I was little doing the crossword in the back of my grandad's newspaper, and I love to solve and make puzzles // 8/10 // Yes, absolutely! I love this idea Aspen! And don’t feel bad at all, life is very stressful - don’t let it get you down. I also apologise for not being active; my homework load has lessens now and all of my midterm tests are out of the way, so I can focus on Scratch more now <33

Writing, art and crafts all equally // Writing: I enjoy writing a lot, and expanding my vocabulary is always interesting. Also, writing prompts are very fun to make, especially when they allow people to take their own twists on it. Crafts: In my spare time I craft things to relax, and I’d love to share these with others! Some examples would be sewing, origami, resin bookmarks and more. Art: I love drawing and painting! I’d love to create creative prompts that can be used in multiple mediums to allow expression // I haven’t been on too much due to being ill recently, but now my activity is around a 7-8/10, as I check my messages every day // The vast majority of the time, yes. I’ll be inactive around when I have exams, so I’ll give you a prelude to when those are closer to the time. Sometimes I may not be able to contact you (for example, it’s recently been snowing and sleeting where I live, so my wifi has been down) however // I do have Canva, however I’d have to check the safety settings to hide email addresses, et cetera
