Yeah I’m really not sure if this was the best way to celebrate black history month as it probably created confusion more than anything else for people who did not know it was black history month. But I guess it’s not a big deal.

It could be just to see them better as before it was a much more lighter tone, so Scratch must've changed it to make them easier to spot (Though I could be wrong).

I wonder what else they could be updating?

I don't think the buttons have updated for everyone yet.
It may have to do with the browser caching files so pages can load faster, try pressing CTRL + Shift + R to clear the cache.

If this is a new design I’m really not sure how they are objectively better than the previous one. They are not worse but I would like to know why they changed them.

This happened to me too, i’m on an iPad air by apple. My browser / operating system: MacOS Macintosh X 10.15.7, Safari 16.2, No Flash version detected

The buttons are either darker or now have an outline (eg. the view one is darker). I was about to make a topic for this, but I first decided to see if anyone else made one.

Maybe it’s to increase contrast? Like the new scratch lab blocks?.
