I'm making a Scratch project called Doors but not scary, and each time i click save, it just seems to say "Project could not save I don't know why. All I did before i stopped saving was

and that seemed to stop it saving, please give me help

Your project most likely reached the project.json limit of 5MB. Can you download the sb3 file and convert it to a zip file (you can do this by renaming the file in file explorer/finder/whatever your computer/device has and it should allow you to change the extension) on a computer (not an iPad/iPhone)?

Some script in the project is bugging out the whole thing. Try to find it and delete it or try to make it simpler and less buggy.

this happened to me too,i dont know why this does that, but you can download your project to sb3 when its finished
