No support for multiple reasons.

1. How is that funny? answer: it's not.
2. Some people have deadlines to meet. Closing Scratch for an entire day would be irritating.
3. Suppose you're working on a project and you're trusting autosave to save your work. Then Scratch shuts down. How would you feel if you lost a lot of work over some unfunny prank?

Maybe Scratch would get sort of destroyed, basically parts of the scratch website show multiple bugs, gitchy squares appear and random users get hidden from the website, everything would come back to normal the next day.The bugs get more frequent and glitchy as the day goes by.

Offline editor would still be going normal, save feature still works, just very glitched out, but still in the same position, and hidden scratchers, if belonging to a class, can only be seen by anyone in the same class as them.

The glitches could be disabled for classes, or I guess they could use the offine editor

Ok, Ok, still though, people actually have something called Idk if you've heard of it an interest in actually coding in Scratch So basically not me, and this is a horrid suggestion that honestly would just be annoying. Plus, a lot of Scratchers post April Fools projects on Scratch, so this would ruin it.

Also just because this year is Saturday, doesn't mean 2024 will be Saturday or Sunday. Would this continue onto multiple years? What if you wanted to make a joke project on April Fools or what if you were working on a serious project? What if you were in a certain timezone so the current day was either March 31/April 2? Where's the punchline?

No support. Usually, April fool “pranks” from scratch are cat blocks and things like that. Students need to do work on scratch and even if it's on a Saturday, you know timezones are different everywhere? And what if a student needs to complete late work? Besides, not everyone would know it's getting shut down. I have a feeling scratch will get a lot of angry people emailing them after the event, even if everyone knew. We also don't know how difficult it is get get scratch up again. It's probably not an on/off switch. I think a lot of things would be screwed up and need manual fixing. I can't be sure, but still. The other reasons still justify no support.
