A design for Scratch
Scratch is a really cool place - but the GUI needs a bit of magical changes. The forum, my-stuff and profile are “2.0-themed” which I consider a bit too old-fashioned and “pixelated”. The new GUI is better - and with the flat design. I can see that the logo was flatter - a flat design would improve Scratch. Basically, I recommend to make the interface “flat” or “materialised”.
Flat: A fairly modern and near-futuristic design with streamlines and neon styles. Windows 11 and 10 are examples. Apple also has a flat design, which is more obvious in some ways. That is the 3.0 design in Scratch, which is perfect. Just make the forums and mail unified.
Materialised: Some advanced way to make the design a combination between an Aero type (realistic but old-fashioned, like the current forum design) and a flat type, to create a shadowy and realistic but flat design. This would be hard, but do references from Windows and Google are the ways. This can be used for 4.0 (or whatever you developers call it - the future) and is a good design.
\just ideas\

3.0 is still being worked on that's why everything is 2.0 for now besides studios and projects.

As far as I know, Scratch is already working on this 3.0 themed styles. I'd also like to mention that, Scratch 3.0 isn't even done yet, which is the reason while some pages still old-fashioned at the first place. However, the Scratch Team aren't going to implement Scratch 4.0 sooner by any chance, which I'd say you're probably too early to make suggestions for Scratch 4.0, because, who knows? — There's a really big chance for some much better options to appear, at the time they're willing to work on it.

Cool. It seems like the ST won't do much progress here.
But anyways, they should improve the website design more than improving anything else (not to mention “fixing”), instead of improving other things like new extensions or whatever. The design looks “ugly” for now, and they should better update it. It looks kind of weird, and not to mention it is “ugly”.
