Did you try taking the sound from the sounds bar, placing it in your backpack and going to your sounds bar, drag it from your backpack into your sound bar and placing this?

 

play sound [Song Or Sound v] until done

Easy Workaround:
1. Create a Sprite
2. Drag sound into this sprite
3. Drag the sprite into your Backpack.

Now you have a sound-container-sprite, which can be used to import and export sounds

That doesn`t work. You can`t do it.

Everyone! I know how to fix this! Just put the sound in a random sprite, and Put the sprite that has the sound in your backpack. You have to wait for the sound to load, though. It'll usually say 1 of 2 assets loaded. wait for the assets thing to go away, and you have your sound

This has happened to me before, but it eventually goes away.

Backpacks can be more for scripts. Music, sound, and costumes do not transfer well if they transfer at all. If you save the sound to your files, press upload sound, and select that specific item, then it will load properly. i think… .

you have to go to the sounds tab (where all the sounds are) and put that into your backpack

All i see when i right click the sound script is duplicate, delete, add comment, and help.

Well, I do that, but using your backpack is so much eaiser. I hope this glitch is fixed soon.

That's not a feature on Scratch.

It doesn't work for me either, and I follow the tips from everybody else ;-; PLZ HALP
