Interesting article I found:
https://screenrant.com/pokemon-scarlet-violet-legends-arceus-open-world/
It's about how it appears Game Freak had little faith in Legends: Arceus

I'm shiny hunting for Shinx and I've defeated about 134 of them and still haven't gotten one yet. (I already got the dex entry to level 10 a long time ago.)

Pokémon Legends: Arceus
A new forumer approaches…
Jokes aside, this is hands-down the best Pokémon I've played.
I'll take this time to tell the story of “The Road to Prosperity…'s Lost Satchel”, a story of the clumsy Prosperity and my adventure to save their satchel.
This story is based on a real experience in this game, but the truth has been stretched a little for your entertainment.
CHAPTER ONE: THE TALE BEGINS
It's a bright and wonderful day in the region of Hisui. Our story begins in the lovely town of Jubilife Village. A small boy by the name of Mozboz decides to go on an adventure, so heads down to the land of the Obsidian Fieldlands, specifically the Heights Camp. He is greeted by lovely Professor Laventon, who tells Mozboz some shocking news.
“Oh! Wonderful timing, Mozboz!” Laventon said. “Unfortunately, one of our explorers, Prosperity, lost a fight with a Pokémon in the Sandgem Flats and lost their satchel. They had some personally important items in that… *sigh*.” And with that, Mozboz knew what he had to do.
He grabbed a flute from his own satchel, and played a tune. Once the tune was done, they heard the sound of hooves coming around the corner. And then, Wyrdeer appeared! Mozboz got on Wyrdeer's back and announced to Professor Laventon: “I'll go save their satchel. Trust me.” And so, the adventure began.
CHAPTER TWO: THE PATH TO THE SATCHEL
The plan was simple. Mozboz would set off down the hills to Deertrack Path. Afterwards, he would head across the river to Aspiration Hill. He would then have to hike up the hills beside Lake Verity. You see, poor Wyrdeer was scared of heights. And the forest was too dangerous. If Mozboz tried to go through the forest, you'd be reading “The Road to Mozboz” instead. Then, he'd hike to Sandgem Flats, rescue the satchel, and go back.
So he started the adventure. He began down the path to Deertrack Path. He crossed the river on his way, and headed into Aspiration Hill. But even this would be tricky. Deertrack Heights and Deertrack Path are quite populated, so avoiding the Pokémon would be the main issue here. Luckily he had Wyrdeer with him, so he was fine. But the hills of Verity would be harder than Mozboz thought, for there was a prowling Luxray on the loose….
CHAPTER THREE: ALL IS VERITY
When Mozboz finished his hike to the top of the hills of Lake Verity, he admired the lake for a few seconds. “This'll be a breeze for up here”, he thought, “I'll do this for sure.” But that all changed. Because as soon as he thought this, he heard the roar of a Luxray. He ducked behind a rock, terrified. The watchful Luxray approached the rock. Mozboz grabbed an Oran Berry, and threw it across the hill. The Luxray flinched, and ran to eat the berry.
Mozboz ran along the hills for his life. Luckily, the Luxray didn't spot him. But another did. So now, it was time for a battle. “Go, Cyndaquil!” He began the fight with the Luxray. He used his speed to stop the Luxray from landing a hit, and the Luxray was now a little weak. But the Cyndaquil was soon tired, and the Luxray used a powerful attack, which severely hurt Cyndaquil. Mozboz decided to flee, and ran across the mountains.
But now, he could see the lost satchel! He ran towards it. But there was a surprise in store…
CHAPTER FOUR: THE FINAL HURDLE
Mozboz could see the satchel. It was in an open plain, surrounded by trees. But there was one thing stopping him from taking the satchel. Two Luxray, vigilantly guarding the satchel. He had to hatch a plan, before they found him. He hid behind a rock, and searched his satchel. 15 Poke Balls, no, that wouldn't work, a Great Ball, where'd he get that from? Cyndaquil, not strong enough, wait, where'd that mushroom come from? Ah, berries! Just what he needs!
He grabbed a handful of Oran Berries. He couldn't make a meaningful throw form this rock, but if he could make it to a tree, he could distract the Luxray and steal the satchel. So he ran to the nearest tree, and realised the flaw in his plan. Surely both Luxray wouldn't run for the same berry, and throwing two would take too long. So he decided to wait until one - not two, just one - Luxray was looking away, and lure the other.
Soon, Luxray Alpha - he'd named them for clarity - got angry at a peering Kadabra. So Mozboz stayed slim to avoid being seen behind the tree, and threw an Oran Berry to distract Luxray Beta. But the plan backfired. The Kadabra, ever hungry, stole the Oran Berry from the Luxray. Alpha turned around to continue guarding, and spotted Mozboz. Uh-oh! Mozboz ran, and dodged the attacks while he could. He eventually, after the long race through the forest, met Wyrdeer again!
They ran through the trees, Luxray in pursuit. Wyrdeer then tripped on a rock, and knocked Mozboz to the floor, dropping his satchel. A mischievous Drifloon then flew away with it. Empty-handed and alone, Luxray above him, and Wyrdeer hurt, Mozboz was stuck. But then, he heard a voice. It wasn't Professor Laventon, though - it was Prosperity. Using their powerful Snorlax, they beat the Luxray in two hits, and saved Mozboz.
“Here's your satchel”, Mozboz said. “Thanks. Was it difficult?” Prosperity responded.
“Yes.”
