A few days ago i woke up thinking it was the * purge or something, regained my thoughts, and then it turned out to literally just be a test.

EAS tests freaked me out as a kid (I live in the US) but they are kind of fascinating! Especially ones from around the world, although I'm not a fan of the mock ones since they're often confused for real ones and misinformation annoys me lol

Yes. Once, there was a fire drill and they played the Malaysia EAS alarm. So it is basically played outside of Scratch.

When the alert was issued, I was lying on my house's driveway . . . face down . . . with earmuffs on.

Anyways, I was at school in my English class, and it went off at 2:18 p.m. My teacher told us to silence our phones, but the alarm still went off, and many of our classmates said it was the most fun they ever had during English class.

We were just silent. It didn't jumpscare us because it was day time in horse back riding.

pixel 7a, also mine went off during lunch you can imagine how loud that was

I got the National alert at 11:29 am PST and I also got an earthquake alert 1 or 2 weeks later at 9:30 or 40 am in my area which is California!
