Yes there is if it is unconstructive/spam, like the user just did. Also there was no edits on there.

It isn't necroposting if the topic is in suggestions and the topic hasn't been rejected.

They meant it could lead to necroposting if the feature was added.

I support if it shows a random forum post from the top 3 pages of any subforum. That way, no topic could be necroposted on since they're still relevant.

Though sometimes they aren’t even suggestions, especially before the release of 2.0.

Support since there's not really a reason not to. The only thing that should be added is a mechanism to prevent it from picking forums from more than 3 years ago to prevent necroposting.

They're talking about randomly choosing a forum thread using a button, not the miscellaneous forum from 1.x.

The nercoposting problem could be fixed if it was limited to threads that were posted on the last 7 days (or less)
