I would like to download Scratch 2.0 v422 and earlier

I want to know where to get Scratch 2.0 versions earlier than v423 as there is a bug in them that I want to try out.

The bug I'm wanting to try was patched in v423, and I would also like to try older (including beta) 2.0 versions just for the sake of seeing the evolution and what bugs there were.

I think I know the bug your talking about (the variable glitch one?) and I've also wanted to try it, and try older betas of 2.0!
Other than that, idk where to find them.

You can go here:
http://web.archive.org/web/20131113020608/http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/editor/?tip_bar=getStarted (v377)
http://web.archive.org/web/20130830190638/http://scratch.mit.edu/scratch2download
If you're doing the first method use this:
https://archive.org/details/flashplayer_old
Make sure to use a compatible browser though (there are flash browsers)

I've tried scratcharchive.naleksuh.com, but it doesn't name the betas correctly, making it impossible for me to know which they are. The Scratch Wiki page doesn't have download links, and the archive of the editor doesn't work either.

Did you run it in a flash browser after downloading flash? Also what OS are you using, and browser (also browser version needed)?

The 2.0 builds on Naleksuh's website do not have proper version numbers; they are identified by build date only.
Builds from 2010 are Experimental Viewer builds; builds from 2011 are Pre-Alpha builds.

I know of an archive containing Alpha and Beta builds as far back as v44, but I can't link to it as Scratch doesn't allow Google Drive links, and the rules about file sharing in general are pretty hazy.

Okay, would there be any way of giving me more information about the archive (obviously not the link) to help me try to find it myself?

Would you be able to download the archive's parent directory as a ZIP, and upload it to MediaFire or GoFile or something? I am interested in seeing these.

You need to download Flash from the link above on archive.org, and install this then:
https://www.palemoon.org/
Since 2.0 ran on flash player

Also make sure to turn updates off on Flash when installing it, otherwise it will probably keep trying to get you to update, and if you update, it brings the timebomb.
