Maybe just call it “don't talk” as opposed to “shut up”.

lol i thought this was a joke suggestion but it is kinda actually a serious one too.
So i dont know what this would be used for because there's this:

say [] for (2) secs

it will say for two seconds then it will shut up after the two seconds

'Hey block, I'm telling you right now, shut up!'
No matter how funny it would be, I've gotta say, no support. Workarounds are easy enough.

So like the old say nothing block? It’s a decent idea, although the workaround is very simple. I would think the Scratch Team would name the block something like “stop saying” as “shut up” is not a very nice thing to say.
