The cancel button is pretty useless and has a straightforward workaround that you can use everywhere, just ctrl + A and backspace, or if you are mobile, just click the cursor and select all, then backspace. It only causes problems since you can misclick it while posting. The go-back button makes you refresh the page, which requires a click of a button. However, the cancel button for replying to comments shouldn't be removed as it is practical and deletes the comment prompt
TD;LR Cancel/go-back button should be removed due to a easy workaround, but replying to comments cancel button should be kept

But what if your on mobile or ipad and you have trouble doing ctrl + a and then the delete button

I don't have to do this anywhere else, why should I make an exception for Scratch specifically?

Idk if I would support. I'm more of a mobile person when I use discussion forums. Plus I sometimes use it when I misread something and I'm too lazy to hit backspace. Maybe support and not support. I can see why people want it removed.

no support for removing go back button because it has a confirmation, support for removing cancel for non-reply comments because accidents happen and you can just spam backspace on them if you want the comment cleared.

If you write a post and then press “Go back” instead of “Post”, a confirmation message will be shown, at least on some browsers.

Support. Misclicks won't happen! Also, it looks ugly just looking like a link rather than a button.

But the go back button just reloads.

I'm pretty sure 99% of people who use the forums don't know these shortcuts. And even then, a misclick isn't much an issue because the page stops and warns you about unsaved changes.
