For some reason, Scratch has blocked me from commenting on anything for the rest of the day on my other account, BladeFire.

I didn't say anything bad in the comment, just that I have 4 different art programs and that I have to wait until July for my birthday, and I tried to post it a few times, and then it blocked me. for some reason.

Could someone explain why they have blocked me from commenting, I really didn't do anything. Seriously. I really need to say something to someone and I can't on that account!

I didn't know they could do that.

Did you post the exact same thing over and over again?

If so, than the Comments might have been blocked because the censor thought you were spamming.

If this happens, just wait. In the future, don't post the exact same thing multiple times. Try to change up the wording, or how you say it.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't even post the comment! When I tried to post it, it said the bad word detector though there was something bad. So I changed the wording. It said it again. I changed the wording. Then, after a few attempts, it blocked me form commenting! I don't see how the word ‘can’t' or ‘’ etc. is a bad word.

That sounds odd… The Bad word detector sometimes goes crazy.
And the 60 second wait is driving me crazy now.

The bad word detector probably picked up something from an unfortunate combination of words.
It happens sometimes.
For example, if “goat” was a bad word, "I got to go at 7:00 pm" would be blocked.

Then, because you tried to post it after changing the wording, it thought you're trying to get past the filter.

Anyway, I'll report this topic to notify the Scratch Team.
They can then look into it and see if it was an accidental block, okay?

Right, thanks. It's on my other account- @BladeFire though. It's really bugging me now.

It looks like it was a combination of a couple of things…part of it was the bad pattern I put in yesterday - that's what lead to the problems then. But then you used a word that was rather graphic and is often used to insult other Scratchers - so the filter shut you down again. I've unmuted your account so you can comment on it again. Keep working towards that full Scratcher status - that helps a lot with the filter.

It is doing that to me right now! I don't understand why it is doing it because it says not to do bad words, chainmail, text art, etc. I am discussing a project with other user because we are collaborating to make a show! My exact words were:

Her: I finished the couch I think.

Me: Looking good guys! Again, work with Sunstar and y'all can even get a storyline if you would like. I don't have much time rn to help y'all so just do your best!

Her: we ran out of room in the animator's section.

Me: (starts to type) I made a new section titled: Animators(2).

Then I tried to send it and it did the;

You said something against the Scratch rules so you can't comment for 5 minutes!

I don't understand why it did that so if someone could let me know, that's great! Tysm! Bye!

Maybe because you said birthday, and the filter thought you were trying to share personal information? The filter bot doesn't understand context, so it's best to avoid using these kind of words in order not to get muted.
