Yes, you could easily make intros…But then your intro would display the viewer's profile picture?
Full Supportttttttttt

How would this work? This seems pretty ambiguous, no support.

I don't see how this would be used(other than projects that say “This project will show your PFP!”)
This would work better as an extension tbh

This doesn’t have many uses but would be cool regardless
I think that having it as a part of the switch costume block would be a bit much

I would just want this to be something you could detect and then put it anywhere, like how the
(username)block works

Bump, because I duped this topic.
What we discussed in the old topic:
people would be able to choose the size of the profile picture using another input to the block
What we discussed in the old topic:
(costume [number v])would both report “ ” (empty string) when a costume was switched to the user's profile picture.
(costume [name v])
people would be able to choose the size of the profile picture using another input to the block
switch costume to [players profile picture v] with size () :: looks

I do not think the size parameter is required, the PFP will be the same size as the sprite that triggered it.switch costume to [players profile picture v] with size () :: looks
Also, “ ” is also a valid costume name, what will it need to report then?

I find that the use cases are far and few between for this. It sounds like a cool idea, naturally, but I just see it creating additional clutter without greater application.
I always find it useful when considering new blocks to recall this heatmap (though considerably outdated!), and I feel any new block should have such usefulness that it would be larger than the least-used block here. In this case, I find it highly unlikely such could happen

This is another one of my ideas (more developed this time) about a sensor that could detect profile pictures for costume blocks.switch costume to [profile picture v]switch backdrop to [profile picture v]
If you were making a project, you could create a sprite to resemble the player's profile picture or make a clone hover above a sprite indicating the player like in car racing games. The possibilities are endless, though there are a bit of work-arounds to overcome before this could become possible. Once that complete, these sensors can merge with other ideas and scripts exhibiting a new level of creative and unique functions.set [profile pictures of... v] to (pen code :: list)Does this seem like an underdeveloped, far-fetched idea or an invasion of privacy? Feel free to say so, as long as it doesn't become too much of an argument.
here are more block examples

Hey, what if you're a new scratcher? Then it would still be their profile picture? I'm not sure how being a new scratcher would change anything.
How would this work? This seems pretty ambiguous, no support. It's pretty straightfoward and I don't see any ambiguity here. It switches the sprite's costume to the user's PFP.

Does this copy your own profile picture or the user's? Maybe separate blocks? Either way, support!

It would be too complicated to implement but it would be magnificent, but a designer's dream IS a developer's nightmare, keep in mind
On a perspective of being wonderful for projects, yes, but on the point of view of the developers, NO.
Although it may not be as hard as Scratch 3D adventure games if Scratch was a 2D programming website that wasn't in blocks! But I'm not sure because I'm not skilled at coding and I've only been on Scratch for 2-3 years.
