hello guys so if you have been in the scratch online community up till 2019 (3.0) then you may remember the remix tree a tree that shows a project and its remixes well this is a removed thing till scratch 3.0 even tho you can still accses it with the url but when i was looking in some projects ive noticed that the remix tree button has return but with no image i was confuesd like i mean i have some scratch chrome extentions but i have never set someting with the word “remix tree” but i never check most updates in the scratch twitter but this was wired ive clicked the remix tree button but it relly did show the real remix tree if anyone knows whats happing then let me know here alright thanks

basically, you've seen a remix tree button in screenshots and you're trying to get it in a chrome extension.
unfortunately since we can't mention browser extensions I can't help you in that manner.

i thinkits no screenshot its true it works as a button it looks like a button but with no image just take a look at the button in this project https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/758538395/ and find the button that says remix tree

Try completely disabling your browser extension. Is it still there?

Of course, the remix tree can still be accessed through links. They just removed the button.

If you add /remixtree (make sure that there are no double / characters) to the end of the url of the project, it takes you to the remixtree.

i don't get why they removed the button. it's a useful thing that still exists in the site, why remove the button?

Well, remixtree is incredibly laggy, and it may of not fitted with 3.0, maybe in an upcoming update they'll make it a bit less laggy and add it back

I don't think this is a suggestion.

It looks like OP installed a browser extension that added a Remix Tree button, then got confused about why it was there.
