I love the scratch cat, but it would be nice if we had also scratch dog WHO'S WITH ME?

This already has been suggested so many times, but why exactly do we need a Scratch dog? And the reason why the mascot is a cat is because the name of the website is Scratch, and scratching is associated mostly with cats.

cats scratch, but dogs dont.

You can create your own Scratch dog, but the Scratch Team is most likely not going to create an official Scratch dog. This has been suggested countless times before but the Scratch Team has never added it.

You guys are right. The app is named Scratch, and even if that it would be good that they add a dog because dogs scratch too. Of course if they don't want then its okay I know it takes time

This was already suggested.. and they already made dogs. There have been suggestions for this since 2015 it looks like but it never has been added officially as a main mascot.
