Can your muting system be less sensitive?

It isn’t as simple as just “making it less sensitive” but I think mute time should be decreased from 30 mins to 10 mins

mute times depend on what you got muted for. I think it's possible to get 10 mins, but idk how

disco (as most of the people i know here say it) is blocked because of unmoderated chat (On most servers). except the fact that the filterbot does not know the difference between the mlp character discord and the website discord

: this is the farthest comments I've gotten on a forum, not everything you say can get you muted

isn't that the end term goal? to not get muted again?
the actual problem with this is that this would cause the filter bot to be teaching people swear words
kinda defeats the whole point of having a filter bot then

I feel instead of being muted (except at first) there's an error like one where it says “you're commenting too fast” and gives you a chance to correct if you made a spelling error or something that caused it, like how I got muted for 5 minutes because I accidentally forgot a letter, but if you try to do it a few times in a short period of time then you'll be muted
Though, it's hard for it to know if you spelled it wrong and it was something inappropriate. There is a topic if you have no idea what is triggering it in Bugs and Glitches, and it is stickied.

It could also show where the word is, and underline it in scratch orange so you can see what's wrong
Then people could just avoid being muted, defeating the purpose of muting.
Uh… scratch doesn't really want to mute people. I think it is a good idea because people might not know what they are saying is bad and can give them aa second chance. All scratch wants is a safe place with no inappropriate talk and that would definitely safe people from being muted and accidentally making an offensive comments that they didn't realize was offensive.

Hope this helped

Do you what I think? I think the ST should make a new website for 13+ this will never happen, kids and teens, don't go together like pb&j and people could just put a fake birth date, and classroom management would be awful.

1. thats a seperate suggestion
2. thats rejected (i thinkkkk)
3. You literally defeated your own argument by saying “people could just put a fake birth date”

keep in mind your going down this whole road over a mute

if creating another version of scratch all so you can talk about discord is the hill your gonna die on you should find something besides scratch to use

edit: if you can make a filter that can detect context i'm sure that scratch team would love that
