sb2 flash games to sb3?
I was on gamejolt looking for games when I noticed a flash game. The behind the scenes video shows it was made on Scratch 2.0.and the game isn't updated anymore so therefore, it isn't playable. So is there any way I can convert this game to a sb3 file?

If its the sb2, just upload it to 3.0 sand it’ll automatically convert.

They weren't talking about .sb2 files, they were talking about flash games made from Scratch 2.0 projects. If its the sb2, just upload it to 3.0 sand it’ll automatically convert.

If it's a .swf file, then no, you can't upload it into 3.0. If it's a .sb2, then just upload it into Scratch 3.0.

I'm talking about a game that was made in the Scratch 2.0 Offline Editor and them turned into a .swf, then a .exe, and now I can't figure out how to make it work again. If it's a .swf file, then no, you can't upload it into 3.0. If it's a .sb2, then just upload it into Scratch 3.0.

If the project isn't on Scratch anymore (the SWF is all that's left of it) it is still possible to run an SWF file, it's just harder. Personally I haven't done the technical side of it myself, so I can't give any details there.
But generally once a Scratch project has been externally compiled to be some other kind of file, you won't be able to turn it back, regardless of what file type it was turned into.
