Blasphemy too

You can easily insult god or other saints in Italian and the filter won't notice!!!
There are users with such usernames!!!

Swear words in almost every other language are allowed, actually… But you should use Contact Us like -Valtren- says, the ST might not know what words are swears (& translation services aren't always reliable).

Blasphemy is allowed on Scratch, you can say something like “I hate God” so long as you aren't harassing other users.

Scratch is a friendly and welcoming community for everyone, where people create, share, and learn together. We welcome people of all ages, races, ethnicities, religions, abilities, sexual orientations, and gender identities.

Also blasphemy in Italy is a crime punishable by a fine, I think ( Idk how enforced it is ).
But still

1. Just because its a crime in Italy doesn't mean…
2. All views are accepted on Scratch, and that includes conflicting views. That shouldn't mean people should harass others over them, but conflicting views are still allowed.

Ahhhhh, but when you insult minorities then I'm the bad guy and I'll get banned…
Also blasphemy is not a “conflicting view”, it's poking the bear.

It's called “a different opinion”. Also, have you heard of atheism??

Atheism does not mean insulting someone who some people care a lot about.
Like bro, saying that god is a pig and that you're going to pull all of the saints in heaven from their feet is not an opinion.

If this happens just report the comment. If it happens enough it will end up blocked.

Yeah, maybe a language swear detector for all languages.
That seems like a cool and fantastic idea we have.

Blasphemy is usually looked down upon but not a crime in most regions. The CGs also only enforce not insulting other users, so this isn't explicitly banned.
