I have a few quesions...

Due to me being on this site on different accounts since scratch 1.2 was out, I have a few burning questions
Please if you know somebody that may know the answer to these, give them the link for this

  • did MIT alltogether make scratch, or was it one person who made it and then MIT got involved?
  • Who is @RHY3756547 and why is he the griffpatch we never heard of?
  • When/ what was the first project not made by a ScratchTeam member?
  • How do you become a scratch team member?
  • Who runs the scratch cat account?

i have more i just cannot think of them

I have a few quesions...

1). MIT did technically create Scratch and hosts Scratch. It was created in a collaboration, but primarily by mres and andresmh.

2). Never heard of that user (kinda proves your point though).

3). I believe it's this project (ID 107). The first publicly viewable project IDs are 104-106, and they were all created by andresmh (a former Scratch Team member).

4). You must be at least 18 years of age. If you are, you can apply through this link.

5). The ScratchCat account is controlled by various Scratch Team members.

You may think that but they are controlled by other ST members according to the wiki

No. ceebee is the main Scratch Team member who controls the account, but it is accessible to most others (but not all).

I just want to point out that the first project was actually an unshared project (ID 1.) The original project is inaccessible, but there is an exact recreation of that project.

Actually, thats not the first, technically. Sure, it technically is, but it was overwritten, so 104 is the oldest shared project, and 107 is the oldest shared project not by a ST member. 1-103 were all overwritten for testing.
