Reconfigure How Profile Comments Work.

Although the profile commenting system does its job well enough, I personally believe there's room to be improved on. Not much would have to be done, I propose that profile comments should work more similarly to project comments. Mainly, in how notifications are received. When you receive a notification of a comment on a project, Scratch takes you to the project and shows you one and only one comment; the one you were notified about. However, with profiles, it loads every comment before and after the one you were notified about, and while that comes with its perks, it would be objectively better if both comment sections worked with the former system. Some pros to this change would be:
  • Easier to get off the notified comment page, considering you could just click “view all comments” instead of having to make your way back to the profile, or manipulate the URL to remove the tag at the end.
  • Less stress on the Scratch servers, since it has to load less comments to find the desired one.
  • Overall consistency across the website, since if a comment section works one way in one place, you'd expect it to work the same in another.

Reconfigure How Profile Comments Work.

This is a quirk of the way Scratch handles comments on scratch-www and scratchr2. Since all of the pages are being migrated to scratch-www anyways, this suggestion is already implemented.
