Which file types does Scratch accept? I'm trying to upload a long Google Slides into a sprite, and I don't want to upload them one by one, but every type I have tried (.odp .pdf and .pptx) has not been accepted. Which file types can Scratch upload into a sprite?

You can only upload .svg, .gif, and .png,and .jpg files to my knowledge. There may be more, but not sideshow file types.

No, you can't upload .bmp files. Scratch won't allow me to.

did you know you can upload anything to scratch if you use assets.scratch.mit.edu?

I have an idea to fix your problem…

• Make a *.odp file.
  
• If you haven't already, install LibreOffice by this link: https://www.libreoffice.org/download/download/
  
• Open the file in LibreOffice Impress.
  
• Go to File>Export…
  
• On “Data type”, choose “Default HTML”, and save it where you will find it.
  
• Simply click Next until you can't, then click “Finish”.
  
• A bunch of files will appear. You're interested in “img0.png”, “img1.png” etc
  
• You can delete the other files.
  
• Go on Scratch, and click “paint sprite”.
  
• Then, go to “Import costumes”.
  
• Selected all the imgX.png files.
  
• And you're done!

There are probably better ways, but this one will work.

According to my testing, you actually can - but only on online Scratch.

That doesn't mean you should, though. There's no reason not to use a .png file over a .bmp file these days.

WAV and MP3 are, there might be others but I know for sure that M4A isn't.
Also this is kinda a necropost but it's kinda on topic at the same time so I'm not really sure if it counts as spam?

Oh and I tried WAV but it doesn't work. it uploads the file but there's no sound. I can't even press the play button to hear it. It's just a horizontal line in the editing sound area

It's saying my file is 0:00 second but it's actually 3:18 seconds

MP3 isn't working either

The same thing is happening

How exactly are you turning the audio into an MP3, then?
