Guys… I just got attacked by it. On my birthday. I think the reason why it happened is because I had two editors opened up, which put a large strain on my old computer, so that may be one reason. I tried to get to this forum and report it but then Shockwave Flash crashed on me, and I lost all the progress I had on a project (not much harm done). I believe that the bug occurs whenever there's too much going on in the editor that it forgets to render the text on the blocks or loses the source to the text… either way, yes, this bug was, is, and always will be a painful glitch on Scratch.

It was Paddle2See, not “Some moderator”.

I have the bug, but when I zoom out or in, the text reappears again. When I go back to normal size, it disappears!

Here you can see the motion tab - (sorry for german Scratch) you can see the blocks inputs (such as [v Mauszeiger]) but not the labels (such as go to x) y) or (x position). Any help? I tried to close and reopen my browser and scratch, didnt work?!

This is a variant of the disappearing text bug. However, it normally disappears when you close and reopen your browser, so I don't know what to tell you except the advice every IT person will tell you: have you tried turning your computer on and off again?

I doubt that's the cause. If people don't have that character, it just shows up as a rectangle.

For cloud variables, I never noticed that it actually had that fancy nancy cloud symbol. For me I just see a cube, because my computer doesn't recognise the symbol.

This bug is built like a tank, ain't be no squashing it like any ordinary bug. It does seem like all of these incidents are reported on Windows though. Memes solve everything.
