So.. I have received a message about the virus. and I was wondering if I could communicate this issue in a non-scary way because I cant think of any other way.

Yes, occasionally, a chainmail will get viral(no pun intended). Chainmails are some random spam stuff people comment to persuade to ther people to copy the comment and post it to other places because “your wish will come true!” and stuff like that. It's probably not a real virus, just some random chainmail that spreaded quickly.

Also, waiting for the ST to respond to your post might take a while… it's best to hear what other people's thoughts are in the meantime.

This spam went something like “MUSIC DOWNLOAD it is a virus”. It was everywhere on Griffpatch yesterday.

Lets say the music viru sis real, the ST would likely know by now and blacklist the link/whole domain. They probably know by now, and lots of comments spreading it have been reported.
