Direct Download for Scratch 3.0 Editor for Chrome OS

Hello! I am trying to download the Scratch 3 Editor for Chrome OS. The problem is that I have google play blocked in school. I would like a Direct Download option so people who have Google Play blocked in their school can access it. Hope you can do it!

I don't see a button that says “Direct Download” on the ChromeOS page.

As far as I know, it should be downloaded directly. You can find more information on the online editor in this link:

Welp, I'm screwed. It says the following message: “This file is designed for a PC using Windows software. This is not compatible with your device which runs Chrome OS. Learn more about opening files on Chrome OS.” I need some more help.

suggestions.

one workaround could be to use turbowarp desktop, which is a mod of scratch 3 and is downloadable on chromeOS and is a lot faster. no new blocks have been added to turbowarp so you can use that and upload the projects to the scratch website just fine.

The Scratch Team is unable to support rare OS, I think.

Chrome OS has a 2.38% market share and used by almost 60% of all K-12 schools in the United States. I wouldn't call it rare. Plus, it is supported, as they have the Google Play app, he's asking for a direct download to install it (which would also be blocked by the school, as an APK install wouldn't be allowed)
Also, to download an APK on Chrome OS, I think some settings would need to be changes (settings that are not in the settings app) which would either be blocked by the school, or get him in big trouble.
