Report Description/Comment Filter Issues Here

Hello!!

I got muted for stating this part of the Community Guidelines:

“For safety reasons, don't give out any information that could be used for private communication, in person or online. This includes sharing real last names, phone numbers, addresses, hometowns, school names, email addresses, usernames or links to social media sites, video chatting applications, or websites with private chat functionality”

I understand what may have triggered the filter, but it is still quite strange that it would mute me for encouraging Scratch’s own guidelines.

I’ve tried everything I know on “Find on Page” and no bad words are there. And blurple isn’t the colour for that service now either.

I tried to say “In that case, guess I'm #fa9273” or something along those lines and got muted.
What is #fa9273 you might ask? well it's this color
That was probably banned because the 1st 3 characters look like you're trying to get around the filter to say a homophobic slur
now that I realize it yeah that might be it.

For some reason “scribbles” and “scribble” get filtered. Just trying to name my project “AI Scribbles”.

Apparently it’s AI scribble that triggers the filter, I’m not sure why it would though, I thought at first it might be some chat or group drawing site, but I looked it up and nothing of note showed up aside from an AI scribble option in some art software. Weird…

Yes, 69 is the code for two ministries in Vietnam in terms of phone numbers. So 69 is triggering it. I think the “th” in “69th” is stopping it from censoring it there. The phone number filter is very annoying and people have worried before about when the Scratch Project IDs reach 10 digits, but I think that’s fixed.

I was saying to someone who hadn’t got Minecraft, and was 11. I said that when they became 13 they could buy their own copy of Minecraft and their parents, who wouldn’t let him play it, would have no right to say “You can’t play Minecraft” as it was his. I mentioned he would be using his own email for his account and his own money.

Muted for 5 minutes, said I wanted his private information. I didn’t, I just said “email”! It was annoying as I was trying to be nice and saying that he could get it in two years!

no, that's not the reason why 69 would be blocked. it means. a bad thing. it's an internet “funny number”, but I can't say the reason it's a “funny number”.
it's Not Safe For Scratch.
