Undertale Battle Engine (D-Engine Month, released Deltarune X Undertale as Beta )
Alpha 1oh lovely to hear
Alpha 1's goal was to re-work the entire GUI system of the engine. I changed my mind about the images, they might cause more confusion along with the manual, so I'll add them in during manual release.
Main menu
-Removed the old design
-Separated Human and Monster editor
*Human and Monster icon
-Added monster icon to left
*Save and load system below monster icon
-Added human icon to right
*Save and load system below monster icon
The Save and load system allows you to save all stats for monster or human editor. This way you can load or just experiment with which stats you like the most. Both systems can store up to 15 previous saves.
-Added advance option settings at bottom middle
*Change between dust effect; ghost, semi-default, default
*Change text effect; none, stuttered, fade-in
*Change button effect; none, zoom effect, up effect
*Toggle advance rendering; on, off
*Toggle soul flash; disable, enable (whether soul flashes upon changing color or not)
*Toggle overworld plugin; disable, enable (by default, this will be enabled, and can only work if the over-world plugin is installed)
*Toggle messages; disable, enable (this option turns ignore's GUI's message editor's options, you can then use text block in “see inside” to create your very own dialogue chains, or simply disable dialogue from the monster.)
*Enemy attacks first; true, false (whether monster will be the first one to attack)
Human editor
-Stats editor
*Human's Name
*Human's HP
*Human's ATK
*Human's DF
*Human's Soul color (start)
*Human's Armor
*Human's Weapon (every Undertale weapon exists)
*Human's LV
-Item editor
*Change item's properties
*Add new items (up to 12)
*Change item's effect (up to five)
*Access to library of Undertale's pre-coded items (with exact same effects)
Enemy (Monster) editor
-Stats editor
*Monster's Name
*Monster's HP
*Monster's ATK
*Monster's DF
*Monster's status; None, Dodging, Blocking
*Amount of times (Value)
*Resists status (animation upon dodging, blocking or getting hit)
-Act editor
*Up to four acts
*If one of the four acts enables the money option, the currency will be shown at the bottom.
*Change up to 4 money option messages (if empty)
*Add item, or change stats upon using money act
*Change monster's dialogue or text box upon using an act, up to 4 times. // still debating whether I should remove this or not
*Option to add HP
*Option to add Item
*Option to increase or decrease monster's stats
*Option to change soul color
-Selector editor
-Monster changer: Change up to 34 enemies (monster)
-Background changer: Up to 11, added a new background (rain)
-Music changer: Number can change
-Extra messages
*Game over status: default, refuse
*Game over screen message: (message)
*Attempt to spare message
*Attempt to flee message
*Win message
*Reward option: EXP, Gold
Overworld options, attacks, and text systems will be discussed during Alpha 2's release. Images will be shown during Manual release.
Thank you for waiting. Now… its…
Alpha 2 will be released on November 6th
