Sadly, yes. However this is useful for outdated projects.If you are on Debian, then simply type in:Isn't that Scratch 1.4?sudo apt install scratchorsudo apt-get install scratch

First spark of hope is it being in the Arch User Repository (aur) for Arch. That means it can easily be packages on other distros. I'll read the PKGBUILD later.https://github.com/redshaderobotics/scratch3.0-linux/releases has download options for the Scratch 3 desktop. Basically that's another spark of hope. It works and on Debian-based 64-bit distros you can use
sudo apt install ./path_to_file/scratch-desktop_3.3.0_amd64.deb

There is scrathuxfun fact, there was a vunerability found in scratch < 3.17. Scratux uses 3.10.
