Introducing myself to this thread because I heckin' love Vocaloid and Utau!!!
I'm Charlie. He/Him/Himself or Fae/Faer/Faerself.
Sometimes I can't tell if something's a joke or how I sound, so I use tone indicators (The Autism is very obvious, lol)
My favorite Vocaloids and Utau's are Len Kagamine, vFlower, Kasane Teto, and Rin Kagamine.
My favorite songs are Vampire by DECO*27, Ghost Rule (also by DECO*27), pretty much anything by Kikuo or Maretu, Lost One's Weeping by Neru, and Meltdown by iroha (Sasaki).
Vocaloid was my special interest for a while back in 2020, and I'm getting back into it a bit and I wanna watch some recordings of some of the concerts or Nico Nico Cho Party. I'd highly recommend TORA_V4 or Minnemi if you want some YouTuber recommendations for Vocaloid stuff.

So, is this for the software or for the voice banks of said software?I think this is for both! I'm assuming you can talk about use of the Vocaloid/piapro software in your own songs but also the different voice banks/Vocaloid “characters” and already created songs/producers of songs
Other people are doing it too, so…
Personally my favorite virtual synthesizers are Kaai Yuki, Kasane Teto, vFlower, Xingchen, Oliver, MEIKO, and KAITO!
My favorite producers are probably Chinozo, OSTER Project, sasakure.UK, JIN, Inabakumori, NayutalieN, nilfruits, Ayase, toa, and ryo, just off the top of my head

So, is this for the software or for the voice banks of said software?pretty much anything related to voice synthesizers can go here - including information and discussion of individual voicebanks, about voice synthesizer software/use of it, and about artwork created using voice synth software. for other examples of what i mean by “voice synth software”, programs like utau and vsynth aren't vocaloid but you are still welcome to discuss them here.
