I prefer he/him, but he is technically non-binary and goes by any pronouns.

The Scratch Cat is non-binary. You can call them by any pronouns. I personally call him a he/him.

You may, but in the official scratch wiki post about the Scratch cat and according to Scratch Team member ceebee, he is non-binary with pronouns being able to be chosen by the writer due to unspecified pronouns. You may assign your own pronouns, but he is officially non-binary.

Just because something is a cat doesn't mean it uses catgender pronouns. It's not a person, even if it is mildly anthropomorphic. Even on the Scratch Cat profile, they speak in cat language.

Anyways, I don't think it really matters what gender they are. No one is going to get mad at you if you misgender a cat.

He doesn't really have a gender, so you can just call her anything. There's no official stance in its gender or pronouns and it's not like anyone will care if you call them by anything.

cats have only a few genders themselves (male/female/a mix or no gender identifying organs, they’re not intelligent to want to become a catgender)
