Our passwords used to be our initials and ID but now instead of our initials its just three randomly selected numbers, most likely for safety. Anybody elses school use the SecURLy blocker? Also Hapara?

i remember in 5th grade me and my friends found out everybodies password for the entire grade (it was last name first initial last 4 digits of student id) so we made a google doc containing everyoens passwords. it was quite funny.

My school blocks entering a Scratch Account where you can't confirm email

Working on an RPG. Consistently losing followers because of inactivity.
I head to forums time-to-time. Not as much as I used to.

For some reason, my school got a LOT more strict on computers this year. Now you can’t:
-Google images that aren’t Creative Commons
-Watch YouTube videos that haven’t been “approved” or whatever
-Use any website with “wiki” in the name (like Wikipedia or scratch wiki)
And a few other things.
Most of the new restrictions are so easy to bypass though that they are just straight up pointless and more annoying than anything

The wiki part reminds me of Fandom, my old school blocked Fandom but idk if the school i'm at now blocks it, i'll check.

As a person who manages IT at a school, I have to say that managing Apple devices is rather difficult compared to Windows devices.

Granted, we are fairly inexperienced with it at my institution.
