im trying to make a hollow knight boss recreation and i can't get the nail to work right. can someone please help me? i will try to continue making the game and just focus on animations.

What is the nail? And what is it supposed to do?

the nail is like a sword so it does damage to the boss i'm making. i need an up slash, a left slash, a right slash and while in the air a down slash.
