the op seems to really want things to be embedded

You guys are missing a simple method of preventing lag, just add a simple load button on each project, so whenever the user loads a forum topic, they press on the load button to load the full project. This way, no projects are running on page load.

I don't really know if this will be added anyways because there's been essentially no changes to the Scratch forums since it's creation like, almost 11 years ago.
