How Are People Getting Custom Fonts In The Scratch Fonts Selector
What I do to get custom fonts on Scratch is I open up a Google drawing, select the font type I want, type the message that I want, then download the drawing and import it into scratch, and it saves the font.

I usually google ‘Fancy Font Generator’ and type in the text I want. Then I select the font I desire and copy and paste it into the forms. I know you can also go on Google Docs, change the font, and copy and paste it into the forms.

Those aren't fonts, they're special unicode characters. This is talking about true fonts. I usually use websites such as LingoJam to copy and paste the fonts into Scratch.
The text has to be set to that font in the SVG, AND it has to be a valid google font (or installed font), otherwise it won't work.

There's a website called fontmeme.com where you can get fonts like Minecraft, Mario Maker, etc. You can also just search “Cool font generator”

How Are People Getting Custom Fonts In The Scratch Fonts Selector
Guys they're not referring to images of text like cooltext.com, they refer to custom fonts in the Scratch editor, with editable text and everything. I have seen it before, and I'd also like to know how it's done. Something like this (this was inspect elemented)

I tried TheRealBigZ's method, but the text is not editable (the test text in the image is that)

I know an extension that can use Google Fonts, but I can't name it sadly (policies). You can use vector text that uses Google Fonts, however.

(#2)Just to build onto this, just make sure that you save is as an svg file.

The thing you see is probably an extension. It's probably a thing, idk I'm not an ATer. In vanilla Scratch, just save any .svg file that has, like, a custom font. To get you started, there's this:
1. go to this website
2. Type something
3. Click “download svg”
4. import it into scratch
5. Delete the block in the background
6. Done

Is there an online program with custom and importable fonts that has a text tool compatible with scratch? I tried Photopea, the text is uneditable The thing you see is probably an extension. edit: don't turn on vectorize text, then the font will default to Helvetica Neve and be editable, so it's a step into the right direction, but other fonts don't work.
