here's the actual size of the image:
Assuming a character sprite is 1x1, you can move 4 pixels into an inappropriate shape. That one is a square.
By the way, how did you generate those image links
You can also do that in any other cloud multiplayer games with characters. This is scratch, a childrens website full of children. I think forumers need to stop automatically assuming that inappropriate things will happen just because there is the chance of it happening. I can assure you most 8 year olds do not have any intention to make an inappropriate image by coordinating a group of friends to do so. Also, key word coordinating. A person would definitely have to coordinate this, so it is highly unlikely that one member of the group doesn’t already know what it means.

Realistically speaking, it should be allowed as long as it’s impossible or incredibly difficult to do anything inappropriate.

“Private servers” are not allowed under any circumstance, even if there is no chat and “no way to make inappropriate images” it is still, not allowed. No variables can change the rules <3

However, if you make a multiplayer game that is technically available to everyone, that is certainly allowed (as long as there is no chat, again). Just have all your friends hop on at the same time. Unless you're a super famous Scratcher, the probability of your server being filled so that not all of your friends can join at the same time is very low.

And yes, you can remix multiplayer projects to create “another server.” <3

Hope this isn't too confusing!

Hold it right there, please.

Can you provide proof that isn’t allowed?

Actually, that's a good point.

Other than a few discussion posts from past Scratch Team members (of which I have been unable to find) there are only things like

"While it is technically possible to create chat rooms with cloud variables, they are not allowed on the Scratch website."
+
"Only you and viewers of your project can store data in your project’s cloud variables. If people “see inside” or remix your code, it creates a copy of the variable and does not affect or change the original variable."

And others alike.

I'll keep looking, but I'm positive private servers are not allowed…

I’ve seen someone make a popular Among Us project that had separate servers. These servers are private once everyone joins, but I’ve seen no action taken on it.

Well of course, once the server is filled nobody else can join - Scratch has a limit before it breaks. <3

The real question is, what is considered a private server.

Figure out the answer to that & let me know <3
