I dabbled in the story mode for a bit, but I got stuck in the first part where you go out of the test chamber. That's my main problem with Portal 2 as well; the “puzzles” that are actually just “find the tiny white square in the dark room” (I'm looking at you, Chapter 6.)

I didn't feel like the underground levels were very find-the-squarish, honestly (except maybe the beginning of Bomb Flings). I can see how they'd be frustrating on a dim monitor or TV screen

I just want to leave a note here that this game's fandom on this site seems to be very isolated from the rest of the internet. This is probably actually a good thing, because Portal's fandom everywhere else on the internet is just a big pile of, say, poop.
I mean, at least the cake jokes people make here have some semblance of tastefulness, more than one could expect of cake jokes anywhere else.

I heard that there's an alternate ending if you fall into the incinerator in Portal.

Happy that at least some of them are doing it right.
Also, not everything portal is anime human. There are some good comics out there that don't use that e-human-whatever-it-is principle.

I found a glitch one time in a community map(Aperture Era maybe?). When you stand at the corner at just the right place, the turret will freak out.

Wheatly is by far the best character in portal 2. I'm sorry but he's amazing.

Haven't played Portal for a while since I played it on another Steam account, but I got a gift, the Orange Box, in Steam, and I'm going to play it again just so that I can get some nostalgia good memories of the game.

But i recommend after you beat the game play it again using cheats. try using: host_timescale 2
