That's the sad truth. People can, and will, manipulate others to get what they want. I'm 99% sure the OP just wants the old studio layout back and is using a handful of random people on the internet as justification.Exactly. And sometimes I feel as though NTs are using us to get what they want. Since when do they care about us?it seems like very few people in said spectrum are actually affected by this, and some who claim they are don't like the studios for a completely different reason.I still think this isn't an actual problem, because most people with these conditions on this topic claim studios don't bother them, no support. It's a spectrum.

Chill. Accusing people of being manipulative over a web forum discussion is a pretty large stretch.
That being said, this topic has 22 pages, 10,000+ views, and I still have yet to see anything that suggests studios are hostile to those with autism besides one post here or there with legitimate accessibility complaints. Everything else has been a complaint about the new style, and although I'm sympathetic to that as a person who loves early 2010s web design aesthetics, that's not going to convince the historically rigid Scratch Team to go back on the man hours and money they spent rebuilding the studio system from the ground up.
If I may invoke my signature:

There isn't anything wrong with the design, or at least nothing that anyone has actually given evidence for, that affects people with disabilities.

The main arguments have been all about autism/adhd

hbu just agree to disagree? /genIron sharpens iron. The best way to improve the website is to come up with suggestions, and then have people explain why they think those are either good or bad, so the ST can, like a judge, determine whether or not it’s a good idea. If we just “agree to disagree? /gen /sus /summon” we can’t show the ST why or why not to do something.

The real problem for autistic Scratchers is that it was changed without prior notice. We're arguing over a problem that has long been irrelevant. Why is this still open?

The real problem for autistic Scratchers is that it was changed without prior notice.Could you explain how the studio layout is not autism friendly? /genI saw a few comments by autistic scratchers saying about this, and I'm not autistic, so I'm not really sure. But if they don't feel comfortable about it, then I want people to know, so that it works for everyone
I don’t feel as if it being changed without prior notice is that big of a problem. If they did tell us beforehand, the same outcome would have happened without some sort of option to change around the website layout.

Autistic people can't handle change, apparently? This is new information for me.

That’s what I was thinking!! They can handle change, they just need a little more time to adapt.
I so badly want to make a rant about non-autistic people complaining about stuff that most autistic people don’t really find that bad.. I’ll do it on a different, slightly more non-kid friendly website later…
