Jumpscare are the least inappropriate im surprised that it is some people won't find some Jumpscared scary if they read it.

Jump scares are not allowed. If its a happy scratch cat that just pops up that is mild “jumpscare”. If you add a warning it is still not allowed.

It depends on the servarity. If its a man with a knife that pops up suddenly then no. If there is blood then probably not.

Jumpscares generally aren't allowed on scratch, espicially if they include horror, gore, bl00d and other horrific or innapropriate things. It might be allowed if you put up a screen saying “A jumpscare is about to happen.” but again, no extreme horror, gore, bl00d and other horrific or innaprorpriate things.

Yes, just don't use blood or gore, and try not to make it too scary. Add a warning first.

Jumpscares are not allowed. There's nothing you can do to make them fine, warnings and optional jumpscares aren't allowed either, the project will get deleted if it has any jumpscares

That is not true if you search up JUMPSCARES alot of them might Jumpscare you with the buttons.

The word jumpscare seems to have no results meaning it is NFE so likely jumpscares is just a missed word to NFE

Nope. The warning will only make kids want to continue and tough it out. All content is supposed to be for all ages, no matter what.

This is actually a real issue, by the way. Before rules were made on scary projects, there was an extremely high amount of those projects. In fact, the Scratch Team got concerns often that a parent’s child was traumatized from a Scratch project. The Scratch Team took responsibility due to this extreme number of scary projects, and they decided to ban scary projects.

However, elements from scary franchises that are appropriate elements are allowed. For example, you can add the main character of a horror movie as long as the character is appropriate and not scary. But anything scary is not allowed.

Ok, I'll explain this the best I can. Mild jumpscares could be allowed, assuming those aren't too scary. For example, just a (not too violent!) image popping up would be okay, as long as you don't add the part where the screen shakes and screams at you
