I need some tips on how to be popular

Create quality projects, add them to related studios, advertise them on Show and Tell forum.
Create projects for featured studios, SDS and Scratch Team studios.
Chat with other Scratchers, Be active in the community.
Help around the community.
And don't think about being ‘popular’.

more skill = more fame
improve your talents and skill and make quality content, and you'll be famous in no time
it also helps if you create something new that wasn't there before(I for one make FPSI animation memes, which is a relatively new concept).

Quality > Quantity
Use tags such as #Games
Be on other social media platforms like YouTube
Make friends
Advertise them (correctly, not on profiles)

keep in mind that you should only use tags that are related to your project. adding unnecessary tags is tag abuse and is a reportable offence

I make fighting games. Not smash bros, but traditional 1v1 fighting games, like Street Fighter

I suggest joining a mass roleplay, and then making a bunch of high quality assets for it. That's a pretty good way.

You just gotta be yourself, be someone unique and eventually, your hard work will be noticed.

Maybe don't worry about fame. I only have like, what, 100 followers but i aint mad. 100 is a big number
just dont spam people with f4f and stuff.
and dont say OH I HAVE () FOLLOWERS UGH I NEED MORE or whatever (not saying u would, nobody rlly says that)

Creating projects helps. So does creating studios, being active, and helpful helps as well. But remember that scratch is not about popularity.
