Undertale Battle Engine (First playable battle: July - 5th)
they never said SUMMER vacationdang i go on vacation teh day the special changelog comes out
It's not… summer anymore…
And it hasn't been for around 1 2/3 months…
What kind of person has a vacation only in a month after?

Undertale Custom Battle Engine I've updated change-log 8. I added new gifs and updated the text format.Me reading the changelog: oh I have a question.
You know how Asgore's defense goes down when you eat the butterscotch pie?
Is that going to be in the engine?
And if it is, could it be customizable?
Also, can you make your own items?
Just wondering.
Eating an Item currently supports seven effects. The order of effects might be wrong, but it's something like that lol
1. Lower Monster's ATK (Value 1)
2. Lower Monster's DEF (Value 1)
3. Lower Monster's DEF and ATK (Value 1 and Value 2)
4. Increase Monster's Attack speed
5. Increase Human's Attack by (Value)
6. Increase Human's speed
7. Add new items to the inventory upon consuming something (Value)come on nivalosha we've probaly been waiting for 4 months or above nowcant wait for the release
We're now 5 months into the development, well it's a one-person job, so it is taking a while. I need to design GUIS, code new systems, experiment with code to improve and polish old code, study Undertale's battle system upclose to replicate features more accurately, add new features, write change-logs, crop/edit gifs to display the progress, draw new logos for studio, updateing studio's messages, work on the overworld system, have to be prepared for Special Change Log 1's release, and answer people's questions. But hey, the engine's development is coming to an end, and I'll be more than happy to see people using it to create their cool battles.
After change-log 8, the engine's block count is below 7.5k, and it runs smoothly at 30 fps. My computer isn't that powerful, meaning weaker computers can still run this engine on scratch's page without low fps and or lag. If you end up lagging, then use turbowarp.
