Can two sprites move simultaneously? PLEASE HELP

I am working on a project with a group and we have two sprites that eventually touch. We are wondering if there is a way to lock them together to have them move together at the same speed. If anyone can please help me and explain the best you can I would appreciate it. Thank you.

Use this:

when green flag clicked
forever
    
if <touching [the other sprite] ?> then
    
broadcast [message1]
end

end

Then, on both sprites, go:

when I receive [message1]
move (whatever) steps

object2.x=object1.x+Size.x
object2.y=object1.y+Size.y
}
where is size distance you want to that object be on

Inside of both sprites, put

when green flag clicked
forever
if <touching [other sprite v] ?> then 
replace this with the code you use to move
else
stop [this script v]
end
end

That will make them keep moving until they hit each other when the flag is clicked. They will also move at the same time.

You are probably using the glide block. Dont, then the problem goes away.

Use a variable, input it into the touching sprite block, then you can type in any sprite you want, even the sprite its in, create a new topic if you need further help or if i just dont make sense because this is considered necro posting
