Is there a certain website to download the audio or a way to upload it onto scratch?

sometimes youtube to mp3 websites that aren't viruses, or you can just search up ‘(whatever song) download’ and you should find a website that lets you download the audio. you can then upload in to scratch using the ‘upload sound’ button in the sounds

Using Yt to MP3 converters violates the YouTube Guidelines. It’s not an option.

No. Using audio you got from YT to MP3 is illegal and is against YouTube's terms of use, even if you give credit.

Technically downloading songs from YouTube isn't alllowed, but in practice, I don't think anybody actually cares about it.

Speaking from experience, I have personally downloaded thousands of videos from YouTube using various downloaders and YouTube has never even sent so much as a warning my way - as far as I can tell, it is never enforced. However, if you want to play by the rules, then I suggest that on any video whose music you want to use, you look for an official download link or check the creator's website/socials (if they've linked any) for download links.

yeah… so I guess my question wasn't even about scratch really. I guess I just don't know how to download a song
