While it is sad that our Queen has died, the Scratch Team should not change their website for every big event that happens. The more often the ST changes their logo for some event, the less special it will be when they do. They'd end up changing it every week, and that would just defeat the point of it!

I agree. This is going to end up being like a reverse version of the snowball effect, where a change of the banner color for something important (like a new worldwide change, not “Oh, PeRsOn DiEd FoR tHe 54768th TiMe!!!!!111!!!one”) will eventually reach to the point where the banner colour is changed every week simply because they felt like it.

Plus, as someone said earlier, even though there exists stuff like the pride flag and the BLM emoji, those are positive reminders of Scratch as a community.
