Support.
There are multiple uses for this, however mostly for, y'know, spoilers.
Occasionally I'll go into TiRaP and click on the topic for a series I like, and get annoyed when I see a spoiler

what a coincidence, i was about to post this. luckily i found it before i duped lol.
anyways this would be a very helpful fact for many reasons. first of all, one main thing that many people on scratct unite for is common interests. that may include a tv show, video game, movie, book, or something else. spoiler text would allow users to talk about it without worrying about spoilering others who have not gotten to s certain part yet.
and it could also help on the programming side of scratch. say somebody makes a game where you have to guess a password. if one in the comments would like to talk about that password without ruining the scratch game, this spoiler text would be perfect.
finally, it is worth mentioning trigger or content warning. while i do not think most trigger or content warning-worthy posts have a place on scratch, you never know. there could be something completely scratch-friendly that makes one uncomfortable. the spoiler text would help to make sure that said user doesn't have to feel uncomfortable while others can freely speak.
now, you may ask, why not simply use a spoiler or content warning? well, sometimes that isn't enough. many people will skim around and skip the warning accidentally. spoiler text would help make it more clear.

Support. I also think this would be useful for posts like TOLORS, so people don’t have this scroll through the giant list though
I’ve seen this used in another social media platform, and I think it worked fine. However, the only thing I suggest is that instead of the BBcode sensing they should be that’s how it was on the above mentioned platform
(Btw it’s AoPS I’m talking about)

(From dupe topic)
I think it should exist. If nothing else, just to allow users to hide large paragraphs of text for post length
I also think there should be 2 types, inline-spoilers and multiline-spoilers. Both are self explanatory.

Bumping as I've accidentally made a duplicate. Anyways, I think this should be added. It would help with long posts, lots of quotes, and more.

Workaround: use this generator
Example: [Double click to reveal spoiler | Spoilers would really improve the Forums, because larger images or much text could easily be hidden in a Spoiler. By clicking it, the Spoilers reveal/hide their content.]
