CLICKY THAT STICKY!!! :P
Okay, so it's a well known problem, I think, that many users don't really read the stickies. I have a solution. I think that, just like Scratch tracks which topics you've read, that Scratch should also track whether you've recently (or at all) read the stickies. If you haven't, I think that when the new topic button is pressed, that this image (or something similar) should come up.

On a side note: Image proudly hosted by cdn2.scratch.mit.edu. xD
NOTE: It is not an official image - please don't use it in your forum posts. Thanks! -Superdoggy

Lol that's what I was originally gonna name it but it sounded too silly.

Support.
This would significantly reduce the number of misguided posts that take up space and time, distracting people from the real suggestions that should be considered.

I support this! Would save me alot of work from clicking that button that gets a moderator's attention and would definitely save the Scratch Team a lot of work from moderating the forums!

It should be timed, though.. That way people don't just go clicking on them. Maybe about five minutes.

Support but I don't like the idea of “recently.” I say that if you have opened the link ever it will never come again.

Once you know that you're supposed to read the stickies, you'll open them up again before making a new topic after you've forgotten. I do it all of the time to double check my posts.
