I have just been made ICT leader in my workplace. Can you use scratch with iPads, as these are at the forefront of our ICT equipment at the minute.

Currently, because Scratch is programmed in Flash, it does not work on Scratch. However, the Scratch Team plans on porting it to HTML5 eventually, and then it will work on just about anything.

Snap would work on iPads though, correct?

Yes!

Yes, try using Snap!. Although it's not Scratch and you couldn't import Snap projects into it, it's still useful for making Scratch projects on mobile devices.
