There's also one heading towards Ooo right now, but I'm still trying to figure out when it will hit and what it has to do with my theory.
However, I'm not sure if any of this is very true because the one in Evergreen looked like it was what contained the Lich, and I'm not sure if there could be a second one of those.

That's an interesting theory! I always wondered where the crater came from. I know that weapons of mass destruction are extremely powerful, but I still doubt that they'd be able to blow a huge chunk off of the Earth. It seems very possible that something out of space, be it a comet or a large meteor, could have done it. Perhaps the Mushroom War began because people were aware of the object approaching Earth, and became very fearful.

Thank you. That's what I was thinking. Maybe the War really started because of the comet, and in that time period people feared it more than in the past. The War ended when the comet hit, possibly. It could explain why Simon and Marcy are the only human/humanoid survivors, since they're both immortal in a way, and why everything is such a mess then. I'm not sure how it could turn people into zombies, though. It could just be the result of nuclear radiation that most likely came from the weapons and bombs used in the war.
Do you think Gunter survived the comet shown in Evergreen, by the way? The crown did, and he was wearing it. The crown also gives immortality as long as you're wearing it. So what do you think happened to him? He can't really be alive now since Ice King has the crown for himself and he purchased it from that one dock worker in Scandinavia. Maybe he lost it or something around that time?

I was thinking that maybe Gunter was the dock worker. Maybe he came to realize what the Ice Crown did to him, and wanted to rid himself of it.
