Scratch 3.0 not working on an iPad using Apple safari. :(
My browser / operating system: IPad iOS 9.3.5, Safari 9.0, No Flash version
I am using Apple safari on a fairly old iPad.
Old scratch never used to work on my iPad, and I was hoping that when scratch 3.0 came out it would work in my iPad like it said it would,
Unfortunately (even on projects that say that they are mobile friendly) scratch doesn't work.
I have attempted to attached a screen shot below of what happens when I try to view projects on scratch 3.0 but it hasn't worked, SORRY!
I would be really really greatful if this was sorted out.
Thanks so much,
JacintaBluebell

Scratch 3.0 not working on an iPad using Apple safari. :(
I know what is going on. I had the same type of iPad before. It stopped updating at the versions your iPad has right now. I suggest you go upgrade Safari if you can to 11.0 or later.
My iPad was a iPad 2 made in 2011. If yours is the same or close to that then you unfortunately cannot use it on the iPad due to Scratch not supporting it.
However you still can use other devices to go on Scratch. Also, your iPad did not work back in Scratch 2.0 because it runned on Adobe Flash Player which cannot be used on mobile. Does your device have WebGL? That may be another reason since Scratch 3.0 requires WebGL.
Hope this helped!
Scratch 3.0 FAQ says - What are the system requirements for Scratch?
Scratch will run in most current web browsers on desktops, laptops and tablets.
You can view projects on mobile phones, but currently you are not able to create or edit projects on phones. Below is the list of officially supported browsers.
Scratch 3.0 FAQ also says that they support -
Tablet
Mobile Chrome (63+)
Mobile Safari (11+)
