I kinda want to start being active on this topic because why not, so I'm gonna start with my favorite game in the universe, Wandersong
Infinity/100; the most beautiful game ever made and never playing it in your life should be a federal crime
Genre-wise, the best description I can think of is a music-based/rhythm puzzle platformer, but that barely scratches the surface-
You play as a bard who finds out in a dream that the world is ending soon, and after helping your town out with some ghosts and going to meet a god to ask him why they were there (you find out but you don't know yet), and there you find out about a way to save the world, (minor very early spoilers, highlight) the Earthsong. So naturally, you go on a quest to learn it, and get caught up in everyone's shenanigans (/pos) along the way. It starts getting really emotional in chapter five, and completely breaks your heart at the end of chapter six, but for the most part it's a pretty wholesome game ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Pros:
TLDR: if you have Steam/a Switch/an Xbox/a Playstation and twenty dollars, buy this game without hesitation
Edit: Wheeze my Hollow Knight review is two pages back from this and it's just about as passionate as this one
Edit 2: FHDJGKLAHLSKGHAJFHGFD AH YES THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SPACE EVER MADE

Pros:
- Super cute artstyle
- The best music in the world (especially the final song of the game)
- There's always a new way to use the main gameplay mechanic
- Lots of little secrets to discover
- Lots of beautiful discussions about emotions and mental health
- Very wholesome rivals to friends arc between the two main characters
- The player character blatantly refuses to step on bugs
- Miriam has one of the best character arcs I've seen in my life
- There's a hidden reason for every single little detail
- (minor spoilers, highlight) “Hala, you died!” “I know… I was trying to make it less awkward, sis.”
- Brilliant use of color and leitmotifs
- Absolutely gorgeous message(s)
- Lots of random scraps of queerness (including a non-binary player character)
- There's only like two battles where you actually have to do stuff, so if you're not good at video game battles or just plain don't feel like doing them it's not a problem, you can just go sit them out or something
- A super creative and beautiful interpretation of how to save the world
- …actually pretty much everything not listed in the cons
- There's no sequel, so when you complete the game and decide you need more, you can't have it officially
- WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED TO AUDREY
- ALSO GIVE HER A REDEMPTION ARC
- Weird computer controls for the song wheel
- Half the fandom ships the two main characters for some weird probably dumb reason, but that's not the fault of the devs so-
TLDR: if you have Steam/a Switch/an Xbox/a Playstation and twenty dollars, buy this game without hesitation

Oh yeah this topic exists, uhhhh maybe I should review Stray next cause Momo is in my pfp
75/100, pretty great game for the most part, but only for the most part
Genre-wise, I'd call it a 3d adventure platformer, if that makes sense? (shhhh I know it doesn't but bear with me)
Pros:
Cons:
TLDR: Get this game if you really like cats, robots, and/or cyberpunk aesthetics, but be warned that the ending is a massive letdown

Pros:
- You play as a cat
- The coolest sewer area I've seen in any video game in my life
- Beautiful graphics
- Lots of clever little touches (for instance, some characters have dead pixels on their screens)
- Great character designs
- Pretty well-done stealth sequences
- THE ROBOTS SMILE AT YOU WHEN YOU MEOW AT THEM (well most of them BUT STILL)
Cons:
- The ending, I hate the ending so much jdsghljksdaghjksdhg
- Some puzzles are basically impossible without looking up the answer (like at some point you have to find a pile of books and knock it over. in a library. with lots of piles of books. all of which you can knock over. I mean I guess you could just jump on every pile of books until you find the right one but they still could've made it clearer)
- Quite a bit shorter than I'd like
TLDR: Get this game if you really like cats, robots, and/or cyberpunk aesthetics, but be warned that the ending is a massive letdown

escape from tarkov (aka suffering):
the game is fun.
if your only playing with bots.
unless youve been around since day 1, probably gonna have a bad time
game is hard to get into as a beginner
what about the guns??
recoil is… strange.
ive never shot a gun but recoil irl isnt like that if your holding the gun normally
wide variety of weaponry
melee is bad
modding is great
hideout is a hideout
rating: pain/10
