Here's where I'm starting up a forum for all things Dubstep/Chillstep/Brostep/Dance/House/Electro. Your welcome.

All music is inspirational, even dubstep. There's a certain nature of dubstep that gives a sense of awesomeness.

What you can talk about:

• Favorite dubstep artists
  
• Favorite dubstep song(s)
  
• Preferred brand of headphones
  
• Your favorite part of a song (drop, synth solo, wubwub, vocals, etc.)
  
• Post links to songs & dubstep remixes of songs
  
• Electro/House/Dance topics are acceptable, too.
  

Rules:

• Don't post links to songs that contain strong/mild language, doing drugs, killing, or otherwise suggestive actions. This is for the safety of the Forum.
  
• Don't post “WUB WUB” and the like. We all know what dubstep sounds like.
  
• Don't fight over who's got the better taste of dubstep. You all have your own tastes in music, and need to respect that.
  
• No flaming. Period. It's your responsibility if you post something that isn't constructive/nice.

I used to be a huge dubstep fan but that was just a phase.
I also remember my parents hating it.

I can't even remember the first dubstep song I listened to. I didn't know what dubstep meant either.

Then life ran its course and I now have an affinity for dubstep.

My first dubstep song was Bangarang… I don't particularly like the genre, but it can be good to listen to once in a while

Scary Monsters and nice Sprites was my first dubstep song. My parents asked me what movie those sound effects came from.
Now I listen to mostly Nero and Flux Pavillion.

I thought Skrillex was overrated after a while so I started listening to deadmau5 and that's basically how I got out of the dubstep phase.
Deadmau5 isn't dubstep but if you ask me, progressive/electronic house music is better.

Ah, now I remember! The very first dubstep song I listened to was inadvertently at school, in my FCS class. While we were waiting for the school day to be over, a girl played a Harry Potter Dubstep tune from her iPhone for the class to hear. It sounded so different from the music I know. Then I heard of Skrillex, who I thought was another hardcore punk rock artist. Two years later, I finally decide to listen to his songs on YouTube, the first being Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites, though it wasn't the first song I've heard from him. There are instances when a Scratch project played a song, such as Reptile and First of the Year, but because I was so unfamiliar with dubstep, it sounded very “yucky” to me. Taking a gamble, I do my research and discover the best music on Earth. Well, maybe not the best, but still very awesome. That, my friends, is how I discovered dubstep.

my main problem with dubstep is that it's angry and loud, but I have to say Milk Puzzle is absolutely fabulous ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

I still like dubstep, and my first dubstep song was “Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites” by Skrillex.

At the minute, I love The M Machine and Kill the Noise when it comes to dubstep. My favourite dubstep song has to be, “Kill The Noise (Part 1)” // Kill The Noise.

Hey I thought dub step lyrics were all illegible

I love the MLP Dubsteps ^^

I personally dislike Skrillex for his music, even the creator of brostep, Rusko, says it's horrible now. My favorite artists are the Glitch Mob, Bassnectar, Flux Pavilion, Pretty Lights, and a few more I can't think of now.

I'm talking about the samples before the drop, like First Of The Year's “CALL 911 NOW!!” or Scary Monsters And Nice Sprites' “YES! OH MY GOSH!”, except that it has foul language.
